I finished Series Three last night. It was good. Really good. I hope they put Four up soon. Although I didn't get the specials because it was streaming. Favorite episodes?

There's a new Doctor Who airing on Easter in the UK. Hooray for this!

I watched the Easter special (Planet of the Dead) and the end of it seems to make it clear that the next special might be the last one with David Tennant, at least for the whole thing. Also, the next one is called "Waters of Mars" and it has a bunch of guys who shoot water out of their hands.

My favorite episodes feature the Daleks (naturally).

One question; How many Doctor incarnations are there supposed to be? I thought Tom Bakker said in one ancient episode from the 70's that a Time Lord could only "regenerate" 5 or 6 times? I guess the Doctor is a super-Time Lord.

Anyone remember the two real shitty poorly done Dr. Who movies with Peter Cushing as a HUMAN Doctor Who?

A Time Lord has twelve regenerations.

I know of those movies, though I've never seen them.

Mike P, they are available on Netflix, though sadly not streaming at this point. They are not on Hulu yet but should be.

They will make any Doctor Who fan CRINGE, but should be watched...the Daleks are the same but HUMAN Dr.Who (THAT IS HIS NAME!!! UGH!) has 2 IDIOT granddaughters running around time with him.

"Doctor Who and the Daleks"

"Daleks' Invasion Earth: 2150 A.D" or some such title.

I was under the impression they only had the limited regenerations but since the rest of the Time Lords were destroyed, including some special council thing, that Doctor Who could pretty much do the unlimited regeneration thing.

Biologically and canonically, he's only capable of doing it twelve times (making a total of 13 regenerations).
